The Hideaway

The Hideaway is our cottage annex, attached to the main house.  The house dates back to 1650 so it is full of character and rustic charm, including steep stairs and low beams.  The private garden overlooks our large pond and micro vineyard beyond, with a gas barbecue for summer nights and sun loungers for lazing away the days. Inside the accommodation comprises snug sitting room with woodburner and dining table and off to the side is the pint sized kitchen with everything you need for cooking up delicious meals. Upstairs is the large, bright bedroom with king size bed and traditional characteristics such as slightly sloping floors (!) and the en suite bathroom with electric shower.   • Note:

  • The cottage has characteristic low beams, a narrow door and the stairs are slightly steep.

  • We are tucked away in rural Devon...perfect for peace and quiet but be prepared for driving narrow country lanes

  • The garden is not completely secure for dogs

Our changeover days are Fridays and Mondays. We run three types of package stays as follows:

  • Weekend bookings are for 3 nights (Friday-Monday)

  • Mid Week bookings are 4 nights (Mon-Fri)

  • Full Week bookings are 7 nights (Fri-Fri or Mon-Mon)
