This quirky accommodation is a little piece of heaven in Devon. Set in it's own field and surrounded by birdsong, it feels like a flashback to a bygone era. The bed is super comfortable and you have the option to cook on the range or the camping stove provided. You can barbecue too, although we enjoyed using this as a fire pit in the evenings. We were blessed with sunny weather, but I imagine this set up would be cosy regardless. If you want something different and need a break from the relentless noise and busyness of life, this is for you.

We spent an idyllic Christmas at the hideaway, the cottage was beautifully presented for Christmas, the owners were very pleasant and exceeding helpful with logs and kindling for the log burner,and local information about dog walks and local amenities, the setting was lovely and I walked our mini snauzer Wynne around the vineyard every morning. I would recommend it 100%

Absolutely amazing. Everything you need for a self catering holiday. Stunning scenery and peace and tranquility. The wagon was amazing, the cooking facilities and toilets flawless. Wonderful shower, boiling hot water. Bbq and fire pit brilliant. So great to live off grid and being kind to the land and nature. Not one complaint, there is nothing to not like.
